About the Role

Red River Hospital is a leading provider of inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare services. We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and/or medication.
  • Provide clinical services to patients at the facility, adhering to medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as corporate and facility policies.
  • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
  • Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services, and information in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidential documentation, compliance, and billing in accordance with policy and procedures.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • One or more years' postgraduate degree practice preferred.
  • Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
