Red River Hospital is a leading provider of inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare services. We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and/or medication.
- Provide clinical services to patients at the facility, adhering to medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as corporate and facility policies.
- Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services, and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation, compliance, and billing in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- One or more years' postgraduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
Red River Hospital is a private inpatient 96-bed acute psychiatric facility dedicated to the treatment of behavioral health and substance abuse services. We provide mental health and substance abuse treatment to a variety of populations, including dedicated military personnel, adults, seniors, children, and adolescents.
