Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Key Holder to join our team at Terrain. As a Key Holder, you will play a key role in creating a customer-centric environment and supporting the store leadership team in service, selling, and daily processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to cultivate a customer-centric environment and deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Share product knowledge and expertise with customers to inform and inspire their indoor and outdoor spaces.
    • Utilize technology to deliver a seamless and personalized shopping experience.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Participate in managing the store environment and customer experience by facilitating a positive and energized pace.
    • Act as an elevated team member and exercise decision-making skills to support problem-solving and enhance the customer experience.
    • Support new hire onboarding and continued education of the team through cross-training and development opportunities.
  • Visual and Business Operations
    • Support daily operating processes, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining store standards, and restocking product.
    • Collaborate with key partners to effectively execute shipment and fulfillment processes.
    • Assist store leadership in maintaining standards and cleanliness by supporting daily tasks and staying current on visual messaging and concept updates.
    • Adhere to safety standards, inventory accuracy, and company policies to support store profitability.
  • Communication and Relationships
    • Contribute to an inclusive and people-first philosophy by engaging with employees at all levels and encouraging open dialogue.
    • Check in with leadership to maintain communication and teamwork on completing store objectives.
    • Provide insights related to the customer and employee experience and communicate feedback to Store Manager.
Requirements
  • Terrain brand fan
  • 1+ years leadership experience
  • Knowledge of home decor trends and gardening
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization
