Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Network Technician to join our team at altafiber. As a Fiber Network Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic networks for our business customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain fiber optic networks for business customers
  • Repair and troubleshoot fiber optic network issues
  • Perform routine maintenance on fiber optic equipment
  • Work with customers to resolve network issues and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless network operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in fiber optic installation and repair
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of fiber optic networks
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to customer sites. You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including outdoors and in confined spaces. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
