The Role

As a Graphic Designer at Tandy, you'll be responsible for creating engaging digital assets, packaging designs, in-store displays, and social media content that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative digital designs for various media channels, including digital, print, and in-store displays.
  • Design and develop packaging solutions that meet brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Create engaging in-store displays and point-of-purchase materials to enhance the consumer shopping experience.
  • Produce compelling social media graphics and videos to drive engagement and brand awareness across all social platforms.
  • Design and update web pages to ensure a seamless user experience and cohesive brand presentation.
  • Maintain and enhance brand standards across all creative outputs, ensuring a consistent and unified brand message.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform design strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

Requirements

  • Highly creative with an ability to identify and execute new, clever, and groundbreaking content and marketing programs.
  • Socially savvy, with a deep understanding of social and design trends for Millennials and Gen Z.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and highly adaptable in an ever-evolving business landscape.
  • Collaborative mindset, thriving on multiple perspectives and a team-like environment.
  • Organized and self-driven, balancing multiple workstreams at one time.

Experience

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of web design principles and experience with HTML/CSS.
  • Proven experience in packaging design and in-store display creation.
  • Ability to create engaging social media content and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
