Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Inspection:
- Assign duties and inspect work to ensure conformance to cleanliness standards.
- Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping services and equipment, taking corrective action as needed.
- Coordinate work activities among departments.
- Perform cleaning duties in emergencies or staff shortages.
- Training and Development:
- Conduct orientation and in-service training to explain policies and procedures.
- Establish standards and procedures for housekeeping staff.
- Screen job applicants, hire new employees, and recommend promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
- Inventory and Supplies Management:
- Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Issue supplies and equipment to workers.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare reports on room occupancy, payroll, and department expenses.
- Customer Satisfaction:

Requirements:
- Education:

- Experience:

- Experience managing a hotel/resort housekeeping department.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- English fluency.
- Bilingual – Spanish (preferred).
- Excellent communication and public relations skills.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized.
