Job Title: Direct Care Worker B Shift

Communicare is a community mental health center in North Central Mississippi that serves Calhoun, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Tate and Yalobusha counties. We are seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a supervised living program.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote socialization, independence, and community integration.
  • Transport clients to various activities, appointments, and outings.
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure high-quality care and services.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPI certification or ability to complete CPI training.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
