Custodian II

The Custodian II will provide routine housekeeping duties, including floor work, pressure washing, removal of heavy trash, window cleaning, and other related tasks in an assigned area.
Responsibilities- Strips, scrubs, buffs floors
- Seals, waxes, and applies finishes
- Shampoos and extracts carpets
- Pressure washes surfaces
- Removes heavy trash
- Performs special assignments in relation to custodial services
- Washes exterior windows, cloisters, and entrances
- Cleans and polishes furniture, glass, doors, mirrors, walls, and other surfaces
- Replenishes custodial supplies
- Vacuums, sweeps, dusts, and mops floors
- One year related floor work training
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Must be proficient in the use of large commercial buffers
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team with others
- Ability to follow directions
