At Smashburger, we're dedicated to serving better burgers. To achieve this goal, we need a team of skilled culinary experts who can prepare and cook our menu items to perfection. As a Culinary Expert, you'll be responsible for following our prep and menu recipe standards to ensure consistency and quality in every dish. You'll also be a team player, working with others on the line and communicating effectively with Guest Service Experts (GSEs) and managers in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to specifications
  • Follow Smashburger's prep and menu recipe standards
  • Work effectively with others on the line and communicate with GSEs and managers
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, equipment, and counters
  • Operate large cooking equipment such as grills and deep fryers

Requirements:

  • No experience necessary - we build better skills
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move, reach, grasp, and lift boxes of food/supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in high temperatures
  • Showing up on time to work variable hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
