Laundry Production Manager

Crothall Healthcare is a leading provider of specialized support services to the healthcare industry. As a Laundry Production Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the hospital's laundry and linen program runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign duties to linen distribution staff and oversee the daily operations of the laundry room.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA and JCAHO guidelines.
- Inspect laundered items to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage records for department attendance, production efficiencies, and linen tracking.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to obtain feedback and information regarding linen services.
- Participate in the central linen standardization committee as necessary.
- Interview and train new associates to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Report overuse or misuse of linens and recommend actions to management and hospital personnel.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- At least one year of experience in laundry/linen or service-related field with high customer/client contact.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment.
- Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
- Willingness to work a 10 hour day on a regular basis.
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
