Position Summary:
The Automation Controls Technician plays a vital role in supporting the maintenance department by enhancing and sustaining electronic communication and control systems throughout the facility. This includes various operational areas such as processing, production, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Utilize Maximo software for effective work process management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to packaging, processing, and utility systems.
- Engage in all stages of automation systems, from design to support.
- Act as the primary resource for control and automation technologies, providing training to team members.
- Improve the reliability of equipment across all platforms and maintain plant-wide data acquisition systems.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field such as Industrial Electrician or Electronics & Controls.
- Proficient in PLC, Motion and Drive controls, and SCADA Systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and control systems.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as required.

Physical Requirements:
- Capability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, and climbing.
- Willingness to work in various environmental conditions and adhere to safety protocols.
