Job Overview

We are seeking a Construction Equipment Repair Technician to join our team at Duininck Inc. in Minnesota and South Dakota. As a technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain all types of heavy construction equipment as directed by the maintenance schedule.
  • Perform diagnostics to identify issues and make necessary adjustments to equipment for safe and efficient operation.
  • Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance projects within the shop and field.
  • Ensure all work is done according to OSHA | MSHA safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A 2-YEAR DEGREE PROGRAM IN DIESEL MECHANICS, CONSTRUCTION, AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT MECHANICS OR RELATED STUDY
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Owning a mechanic tool set.
  • Able to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • High level of energy and motivation.
  • Able to work flexible hours with some weekend and holiday work required.
  • Strong team player able to work effectively with a variety of people, personalities, skills, and organizational levels.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
