The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the front desk operations of the hotel, ensuring that exceptional service is delivered to guests, prospective guests, vendor partners, and hotel staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Assist in preparing work schedules for Guest Experience Representatives, making adjustments as necessary to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct training for front desk staff in customer service, technical duties, and sales skills.
  • Manage administrative tasks including daily reports, financial transactions, and inventory management.
  • Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of senior management, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Provide a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, maintaining adherence to company policies.
  • Handle guest payments and sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in English is essential.

Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is necessary; supervisory experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and possess good vision and hearing.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to operate office software and handle confidential information responsibly.
