The Relationship Development Specialist will provide exceptional customer service and ensure prompt attention to our farmer owners. You will be a part of a supportive team ensuring customers receive the help they need.

What Will You Do?

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt assistance or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
  • Maintain and increase sales of agronomy and feed products, grain origination, and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
  • Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
  • Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
  • Understand how to document and submit sales call information in the Customer Relationship Management System.
  • Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products and services provided.
  • Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
  • Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy.
  • Monitor agronomy sales contracts and prepay for accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid state driver's license.
  • Must be able to move or lift up to 50 pounds.
  • One year of related experience.
  • Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.
