Expert NICU Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Los Angeles, California.
About the Role- This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the NICU. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and address complex medical issues.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit policies and procedures.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, ensuring timely completion of duties and responsibilities.
- Foster a culture of safety and respect, promoting open communication and collaboration among team members.
Requirements:
- A valid Registered Nurse license in California.
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a Level III NICU or successful completion of KP's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit course.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
