Job Overview

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Position Summary:

The Executive Housekeeper is accountable for maintaining pristine public and guest areas throughout the hotel. This role ensures that all guest accommodations are thoroughly cleaned and equipped with necessary amenities in alignment with the hotel's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all relevant Tribal, Federal, and gaming regulations, as well as Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by attentively addressing the concerns and inquiries of guests and team members.
  • Guarantee complete guest satisfaction through proactive engagement.
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and requests efficiently.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of guest rooms.
  • Conduct daily evaluations of all areas serviced by the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Document all pertinent information on the Housekeeping Inspection Report.
  • Distribute supplies to room attendants for stocking in guest accommodations.
  • Communicate with the Maintenance Department regarding necessary repairs or maintenance tasks through work orders or verbal notifications.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in training room attendants.
  • Support the Housekeeping Manager in assigning room tasks based on the Housekeeping Report.
  • Act as the Housekeeping Manager in their absence due to days off, illness, or vacation.
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms or public areas and performing laundry duties as required by workload.
  • Exhibit a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents.
  • Promote and embody the core values and skills of KLECH.
  • Safeguard confidential information entrusted to the position.
  • Complete all mandatory training as assigned.
  • Monitor adherence to Federal currency transaction reporting requirements and maintain accurate records as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of sanitation standards and the application of relevant cleaning agents.
  • Familiarity with brand standards and corporate policies related to housekeeping, particularly concerning safety and security.
  • Ability to lift, stand, walk, bend, reach, and maintain mobility for extended periods.
  • Physical capability to perform all housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Knowledge of stain removal techniques and cleaning equipment operation.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow management instructions.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to communicate safety and security information.
  • Prior experience as a Room Attendant is required.
  • Leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
