Patient Care Technician

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and record patient data, reporting information and observations to the nursing team in a timely manner.
- Perform various patient care duties, including vital sign collection, blood glucose monitoring, and urinary catheter care.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and eating.
- Respond to patient call lights and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, files, and documents.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, purchase orders, and memos.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors.
- CNA certification, PCT training program, or EMT training.
- 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, inpatient environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
