Patient Care Technician

At Texas Health Resources, we are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician to assist our nursing staff in providing patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and medical history.
- Assist with patient transfers and admissions.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA, NAHP or NCCT or an accredited community college program or a THR approved program
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 days of hire required
