At Kinetico Incorporated, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assembler to join our team. As a Technical Assembler, you will play a critical role in building commercial reverse osmosis (RO) product subassemblies, preparing filters, performing testing, and packaging finished product.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and learn differences in various commercial products, their subassemblies, and component parts.
- Develop assembly skills towards meeting daily quantity and quality expectations.
- Work from daily production schedule.
- Follow established job instructions to assemble products according to specification and through the safe operation of production equipment.
- Learns testing requirements and demonstrates adherence to quality standards.
- Learns to package product according to job instructions and specifications.
- Begins cross training on multiple product lines.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicates with Lead or Production Manager and poses questions that will increase learning or exchange information on current operations.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 year of prior experience in a production environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to learn complex assembly operations involving manual and electrical connections.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools, work with small parts, and work within tight tolerances.
- Good organizational skills.
- General computer skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Reliable with positive attitude and flexible approach.
- Develops the skills to build complicated subassemblies on one or more product lines.
- Works towards assembling products to quality expectations – 5% or fewer mistakes.
