Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Guthrie. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for operating stationary and portable x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated regions of the body. You will also supervise and instruct students in the clinical areas, ensuring they receive comprehensive training in radiologic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, including adjusting equipment settings, positioning patients, and generating high-quality images.
  • Supervise and instruct students in the clinical areas, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they meet the highest standards of care.
  • Work collaboratively with other technologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to maintain high standards in Radiology.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest radiologic procedures and technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including cleaning and restocking rooms, and reporting equipment problems to supervisors.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program and certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Minimum of six months' experience as a registered technologist in a Radiology department of a general acute-care hospital.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, on a scheduled basis.
  • Ability to lift, push, reach, bend, stoop, and walk to care for patients.
