Job Summary

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a per diem capacity. As a member of our interventional radiology team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians with minimally invasive and invasive fluoroscopic guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing procedure rooms, patients, and equipment for procedures
  • Operating radiology and support equipment
  • Assisting with image archive management and documentation
  • Providing sterile field and circulating assistance during procedures
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting the academic nature of the organization

Requirements include:

  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Cardiac and/or Vascular Interventional Radiography
  • CDHP Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy permit
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a Cardiac Catheterization, Peripheral Vascular, and EP Lab
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment

Requirements

ACLS certification upon hire

CRT license/certification

ARRT license/certification

Advanced ARRT Certification in Cardiac and/or Vascular Interventional Radiography

CDHP Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy permit

Minimum of three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a Cardiac Catheterization, Peripheral Vascular, and EP Lab

Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment

Current BLS certification

Must be available to work evenings, nights, and/or weekends

Must be available for on-call assignments or alternate work schedules
