Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Guthrie, you will play a critical role in preparing and administering radioactive isotopes to patients for diagnostic procedures. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiopharmaceuticals, as well as providing technical support to other nuclear medicine professionals and physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures
Perform daily and quarterly quality assurance procedures on equipment
Maintain records of all radioactive material in the department
Enforce radiation and general safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

High school diploma and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certification required; ARRT(R), Advanced certification (ARRT(N)) or NMTCB
Minimum of three months of experience preferred

Salary Range: $44.22 per diem rate
