Job Summary

Jetson Specialty Marketing Services Inc is seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our team. As a Machine Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the seamless functioning of our equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal production output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operators and other technicians, fostering effective relationships and communication.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and parts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve technical issues and optimize equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and service work performed on equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or associate's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in a Machine Technician role, with a strong background in mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in quality control, lean manufacturing, and safety is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders, with a strong understanding of OSHA compliance and regulations.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
