Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our team at Jetson Specialty Marketing. As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of all equipment and machinery, fostering a collaborative environment with operations teams, and maintaining a high level of productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide support and guidance to operators and other technicians, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and parts, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Report performance metrics and equipment malfunctions to supervisors, recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve technical issues and optimize maintenance processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or associate's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in a Machine Technician role, with a strong background in mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in quality control, lean manufacturing, and safety is a plus.
