Role Overview

As a part of the Emergency Management Agency, you will engage in comprehensive research and analysis of intricate financial data to rectify discrepancies. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing activities related to Ohio Shared Services and addressing any inquiries or challenges.
  • Designing and generating a variety of financial reports to meet departmental requirements.
  • Acting as a liaison with federal accounting systems to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with federal agencies to address and reconcile funding issues.
  • Updating federal records to ensure accurate account management.
  • Reviewing and approving financial transactions while guiding team members on funding matters.
  • Auditing reimbursement requests and coordinating financial activities for various programs.
  • Preparing analytical reports on financial operations to ensure effective budgeting and cost recovery.
  • Monitoring the State Disaster Relief Fund and providing quarterly updates on expenditures.
  • Approving travel expenses and providing fiscal training to staff as needed.
