Key Responsibilities:
  • SEC Reporting: Prepare and file SEC 10-Q and 10-K reports, interpret financial reporting proposals from governing bodies, and provide analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro-forma financial data.
  • Financial Data Reporting: Develop and format financial data reports for internal and external customers, identify and research financial reporting issues, and assist with the adoption of new reporting requirements.
  • Regulatory Support: Support regulatory initiatives by gathering data and preparing regulatory schedules, and assist in analyzing regulatory documents and preparing pro-forma calculations and testimony.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate an understanding of financial statements, key business metrics, and economic/industry data as they relate to job responsibilities, and collaboratively develop financial solutions with corporate and business units.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance organizational efficiency, and document work accurately to ensure transparency and quality control.
Requirements:
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related discipline required, CPA or CFA certification preferred.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in finance, accounting, regulatory, or a related field, SEC reporting experience required, prior experience in Big 4 or major public accounting firm preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting, SEC regulations, and corporate finance, experience in regulatory finance and decision support, excellent problem-solving, communication, and process improvement skills.
