Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Application Development team at our Topeka, KS office. The successful candidate will participate in dynamic and challenging projects to produce and implement functional software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex software to accomplish business goals
  • Write high-quality and testable code following established processes
  • Work with key stakeholders throughout the SDLC including design, development, and QA
  • Effective troubleshooting of technical issues and bugs of new and existing software
  • Designs/develops/maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Maintain knowledge on all the latest technology
  • Participate in design discussions and own module designs
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Continuous knowledge-seeking of coding and technological changes and developments that will impact your work
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or relevant work experience
  • Must understand the structure and logic of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • 2-3 years of experience in Angular/Angular.JS or React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, SQL (SQL Server preferred), GitLab, and CI tools
  • 3-5 years of experience in C#, JavaScript, SQL, and experience with Web APIs, structured data formats, and Continuous Integration Tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microservices/SOA experience
  • Container Technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) experience
  • Public cloud provider experience (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Health Care Application/Data Design knowledge
  • Electronic data interchange standards and formats experience
