About the Role

EnergyCAP, LLC is a leading software company focused on energy and sustainability management. We're seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Product Management team. As an Instructional Designer, you will create and deliver engaging instruction curriculum related to our products to new and existing employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design comprehensive programs covering product features, benefits, and usage, ensuring programs are scalable and adaptable to different learning styles and needs.
  • Produce instruction materials such as manuals, online learning modules, and instructional videos, ensuring materials are engaging, easy to understand, and accessible.
  • Conduct training sessions in various formats, including workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions, tailoring delivery methods to suit the audience and maximize learning outcomes.
  • Prepare EnergyCAP staff to use prepared materials to deliver compelling content to customers and prospects.
  • Implement assessment tools to measure trainee progress and the effectiveness of training programs, continuously using feedback to improve training quality and relevance.
  • Work with product managers, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure instruction design aligns with product development and market needs.
  • Stay abreast of product updates, industry trends, and training best practices to ensure content and delivery methods are current.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education, Communication, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in training, instructional design, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to design engaging and effective instruction materials.
  • Proficiency in e-learning software and platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
