Laboratory Phlebotomist with Excellent Benefits Package

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced laboratory setting. As a Laboratory Phlebotomist at Labcorp, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, preparing them for testing, and maintaining accurate records of patient information.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of phlebotomy techniques and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency. Previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred but not necessary.
What You'll Do:- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry of patient information
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
