About Lowell General Hospital
We're a 3-time Magnet-recognized community hospital, dedicated to providing comprehensive care to critically ill and premature infants. Our Special Care Nursery is a Level II unit, with a 10-bed capacity, where we provide continuing care to stable pre-term neonates and chronically ill neonates prior to discharge to home.

In this role, you'll work closely with families, offering education and support while ensuring the stability and health of our patients during their stay. You'll collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care, utilizing your expertise in telemetry monitoring and SCN experience to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive, collaborative, evidence-based care to infants requiring stabilization, ongoing assessment, and/or long-term care.
  • Work closely with families to educate them on their infant's condition and provide emotional support.
  • Cross-train to cover shifts in our Mother Infant Unit, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:
  • BSN preferred, BLS required, NRP required.
  • Telemetry monitoring experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of SCN experience, with 5 years preferred.
  • MCH experience and ability to work every other weekend and holiday.
