About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Civil and Environmental Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures using various software programs, including STAAD, RAM, and Hilti Profis.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze structures and prepare detailed calculations and designs for various materials, including steel, concrete, and masonry.
  • Work under the supervision of a senior engineer to ensure high-quality designs and meet project deadlines.
  • Provide quality oversight for structural designs performed by others and train and mentor less experienced engineers and designers.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution and generate structural engineering hour estimates for ongoing work and new proposals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering with relevant experience on industrial or manufacturing type projects.
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of industry codes and standards, including ACI, AISC, AIST, ASCE, and AWS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Suite, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
