Job Description

The successful candidate will work on cloud-based solutions and solve challenging problems for unique customers. As a hybrid role, this position requires 3 days of onsite support in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native architecture using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Implement secure automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure as code to ensure the stability and scalability of cloud systems.
  • Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments to streamline software development and deployment processes.
  • Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies to deliver high-quality results.
  • Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments and improve overall system efficiency.
  • Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management to ensure the security and compliance of cloud systems.
Clearance Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a relevant field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related field is necessary.
  • Ability to configure cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Concourse CI is required.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chef is necessary.
  • Previous experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) products such as Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and RKE2 is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, OWASP-DC, Anchore, Claire, Dagda, and OpenSCAP is required.
  • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience writing responses to security controls and deploying secure systems is essential.
  • Comfortable working in a project startup environment is necessary.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a relevant field is desirable.
  • Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP is beneficial.
  • Experience supporting the DoD is advantageous.
