About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Stormwater Management Expert to join our team in Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding our client's footprint in the local stormwater market through targeted business development strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow specific client relationships and participate in select professional society activities.
  • Collaborate with Stormwater Leads across the US to develop and implement strategy for continued stormwater growth and innovation.
  • Build a stormwater project delivery team in Florida.
  • Manage planning and detailed design projects, including management of contract document production, hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, report writing, and other activities needed to support planning, design, and construction services for stormwater management facilities.
  • Projects may include pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization, storage and treatment facilities, multi-benefit facilities, and other conveyance measures.
  • Work with other engineering disciplines, designers, and scientists who support specific assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental Engineering.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • 10+ years of experience in stormwater/water resource engineering.
  • 5 years of experience with client service and business development efforts, including project positioning, proposal preparation, interviews, and technical presentations.
  • 5+ years in the planning and design solutions for urban stormwater management challenges.
  • Strong design skills for stormwater management systems, particularly for municipal clients.
  • Familiarity with standard stormwater analysis tools, including HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
  • Experience working with Florida Water Management Districts.
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (desired).

What We Offer

HireOTS offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, plus full benefits, sign-on bonus opportunities, paid overtime, and an annual performance bonus.
