We are seeking a skilled Aviation Project Manager to join our team in Atlanta. As a key member of our dynamic engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing aviation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and meeting the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of aviation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop project schedules and budgets, and manage project resources effectively.
  • Evaluate compliance with FAA regulations and standards in all project activities.
  • Oversee airfield design and installation projects for airfield lighting.
  • Conduct runway design and other aviation-related engineering tasks.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client relationship management.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
  • Manage risks to minimize project risks.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and documentation to stakeholders.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation project management.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
  • Proven experience in managing airfield and airfield lighting projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and standards.
  • Proficient in runway design and other aviation-related engineering tasks.
  • Strong business development skills, with a proven track record in proposal development and client relationship management.
  • Excellent project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, mentoring and motivating team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, anticipating and resolving project issues effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software and relevant applications.
