About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified Advanced Practice Professional to join our team at Seattle Children's Hospital. This individual will provide direct care and assume responsibility for the clinical management of pediatric cardiac transitional care and cardiac critical care patients in inpatient settings.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
  • Direct or participate in case management and continuing care.
  • Collaborate, refer, and consult with department attending physicians, specialists, and other members of the health care team to deliver effective, efficient, safe, and high-quality care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in acute care for NPs or graduate of a nationally accredited physician assistant program for PAs.
  • Active, unencumbered registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure in the State of Washington for NPs or active, unencumbered physician assistant licensure in the State of Washington for PAs.
  • Current national certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner for NPs or initial certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants for PAs.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $141,429 - $208,002, depending on experience and qualifications.
