Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Talent Healthcare Staffing Inc. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a dynamic PICU environment and make a real difference in the lives of children.
Job SummaryThe Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety within the unit.
Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Clinical Decision Making: Collaborate with the healthcare team to make informed decisions about patient care, including medication management, respiratory support, and other life-sustaining therapies.
- Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of care and promote a positive patient experience.
- Educational Opportunities: Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advance knowledge and skills in pediatric critical care.
- Nursing Degree: Bachelor's or associate's degree in nursing required; master's degree preferred.
- Licensure and Certification: Current RN licensure and certification in pediatric critical care (PCCRN) or pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric intensive care or a related field.
- Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills; commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Talent Healthcare Staffing Inc offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a tax-free stipend and comprehensive benefits package.
