Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital. As a RN ICU, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing the needs of critically ill patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team strategies to resolve patient problems and needs.
  • Document patient care services, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Ensure the operation of equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions and maintaining inventories.
  • Delegate and supervise personnel, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
