**About the Position**

This job opening is for a highly skilled Hematologist Oncologist to join our team at the John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. As a member of our section, you will be part of a dynamic and dedicated team providing exceptional care to patients with malignant and benign hematological disorders and oncological conditions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide high-quality patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Perform bone marrow aspirates and biopsies
  • Teach fellows, residents, medical students, and provide education for other attending staff
  • Participate in selected multi-disciplinary committees related to cancer care

**Requirements**

  • United States Citizenship
  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Board eligible/Board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

**What We Offer**

  • Competitive salary: $300,000 - $400,000 per year
