About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Endocrinologist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a valued member of our medical staff, you will have the opportunity to practice general endocrinology with the ability to teach and participate in clinical research.

The clinic receives a wide variety of cases, making for a well-rounded and diverse practice. Approximately 40% of the practice is dedicated to diabetes, while the remaining 60% focuses on general endocrine conditions, including thyroid disorders.

Our advanced practice providers handle diabetes follow-ups, allowing you to focus on comprehensive patient care. We also have a dietitian available three days a week at Henry Ford New Center One and every day at Henry Ford Columbus.

About the Opportunity

You will be assigned a primary location and may be asked to split time to cover additional locations as needed. Our schedule includes five days per week working at any assigned location, with new providers easing into clinic responsibilities without a full schedule right away.

Physicians work 16-18 days of clinic per month, seeing 16-17 patients per day. Call is evenly distributed amongst staff physicians, with overnight calls initially taken by fellows. Providers will be on call a week at a time and will round at Henry Ford Hospital approximately 9-10 weeks a year.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have completed an ACGME/AOA-approved Internal Medicine residency program and be currently completing or have completed an ACGME/AOA-approved Endocrinology fellowship program.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $400,000 - $600,000 per year, based on national averages for endocrinologists in the United States.
