Function: MFG Hourly

Key Responsibilities: Assemble mattresses according to established guidelines utilizing various pneumatic tools, including c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, and hot glue guns.

This role encompasses the assembly of Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units on the HMB machine, applying specified upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units, constructing foam-encased pocketed coil units, and executing final mattress assembly.

Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours daily, with the possibility of extended hours during peak demand periods. Additionally, the ability to lift heavy products or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour is essential.

Heavy items must be lifted with assistance. Adherence to production standards is necessary to maintain the integrity of our make-to-order system.

Mental Requirements: Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions and production tickets is crucial. Effective communication with coworkers and management is expected, along with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.Work Environment: A safety-focused, fast-paced manufacturing facility engaged in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices. The workspace is clean and safe, with exposure to elevated noise levels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory and provided by the company.Key Relationships: Production Supervisor
