Job Summary

This is a Contract or a Time limited position for a minimum of 13 weeks contract and extendable with notice. This position will pay $50.00 per hour with no benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice and in accordance with physician orders, policies, and protocols.
  • Maintain proficiency with all respiratory and blood gas lab modalities and equipment.
  • Communicate with other members of the interprofessional care team.
  • Document and bill for services in the electronic medical record.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the department and the Center by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
  • Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 6 months of Respiratory Care experience, including adult critical care.
