Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Aspire Health Group. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory therapy program.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and educating patients with respiratory disorders. This includes performing diagnostic testing, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to patients in a Skilled Nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including cardio-pulmonary and neurological conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of respiratory therapy programs and services.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of respiratory disease and diseases that affect the respiratory system.
  • Ability to use respiratory therapy equipment and exercise judgment and discretion in devising, installing, and interpreting rules, regulations, policies, or procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with skilled interventions, including oxygen weaning therapy, omni flow-biofeedback, and aerosol therapy.
  • Knowledge of program development and implementation, management and administration of therapies as prescribed by a physician and according to standard procedure.
