ParkStone Wood Kitchen + Taps is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Restaurant General Manager in directing the daily operations of the restaurant, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, and financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain fast, accurate service and positive guest relations, ensuring products meet company quality standards.
  • Ensure Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met.
  • Assist in Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate action.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire restaurant team members.
  • Maintain company standards on restaurant equipment, facility, and grounds.
  • Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Execute corporate and local restaurant marketing plans.

Requirements:

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to lift pots and pans, trays, bus pans, cases of beer, and materials weighing 40 pounds or more.
