Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including cardiac arrhythmias and respiratory distress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care and progress in the medical record
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ICU or PICU experience
This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and moving patients, and working under stressful conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care.
Personal Protective Equipment:Cleveland Clinic follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
