Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a Registered Nurse Resident I to join our Clinical Decision Unit team. As a Nurse Resident, you will work alongside experienced nurses to provide high-quality patient care and develop your clinical skills.
The Clinical Decision Unit is a fast-paced environment with a high patient turnover rate, treating major diagnoses such as chest pain, syncope, and dizziness. You will work closely with a success coach to establish and revise priorities for patient care, respond to data indicating risk to patients' health, and document in patients' medical records.
To be successful in this role, you will need to participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs, provide direct nursing care, and seek supervision and consultation when needed. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements: This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods of time and work under stressful conditions.
Personal Protective Equipment: You will be required to follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as needed for procedures.
