Position Overview

Leidos is in search of an Advanced Power Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our dynamic team. The selected individual will spearhead the design and innovation of cutting-edge prime power and pulsed power systems tailored for our esteemed Air Force clientele. Key responsibilities will encompass generating inventive solutions for resilient and efficient designs, performing comparative analyses on Directed Energy system methodologies, overseeing technical personnel, and engaging in collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of pertinent experience, a Master's degree with under 2 years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. with no prior job experience.
  • Proficient in data analysis, capable of producing precise test documentation, and adept at functioning effectively within a laboratory setting.
  • Eligibility to secure a Secret security clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE/LTSPICE, mathematical software like MatLab, and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks.
  • Experience in constructing and diagnosing power electronics, high voltage systems, and vacuum technologies.

Compensation Range: $53, $97,525.00
