Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures for patients
  • Arrange ancillary services and diagnostic testing (such as MRI and CT scans)
  • Secure insurance authorizations for scheduled procedures
  • Handle incoming calls related to scheduling and procedures
  • Provide guidance to patients regarding upcoming surgeries and tests
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Basic computer and keyboard skills
  • Understanding of scheduling protocols
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting, particularly in coordinating referrals, testing, or surgical procedures is preferred
