Primary Duties:

  • Ensure adherence to industry-specific accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist in the preparation for audits and act as a liaison with external auditors
  • Establish and uphold internal controls

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally within the construction industry
  • In-depth understanding of construction accounting principles, job costing, and the percentage of completion method
  • Proficient in construction-specific accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in contract review and change order processing is advantageous
