Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Training Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing associates in our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our warehouse operations, including classroom and on-the-job training.
  • Lead a team of trainers and new hires through a multi-week onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Coordinate all aspects of onboarding and training, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to trainers and new hires to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and field market trainers, to ensure alignment and consistency in training programs.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, productivity, and retention in our warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in training and facilitation, preferably in a supply chain and/or warehouse environment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce, with a strong track record of leadership and supervision.
  • Prior experience in a supply chain and/or warehouse environment, with knowledge of inventory control, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Strong facilitation, leadership, communication, engagement, and development skills.
  • Ability to compile and interpret operational metrics, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
