We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Processor to join our team at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. As a Master Data Processor, you will play a critical role in creating, maintaining, and standardizing material master data in our inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate new material requests for warehouse inventory and process them into material master data records in the appropriate inventory management system(s).
- Process requests for changes to existing material master data records in the appropriate inventory management system(s).
- Perform data analysis in support of metrics reporting, duplicate data reviews, and ad-hoc requests from customer stakeholders and Supply Chain business partners.
- Support activities to improve data quality and consistency through continuous improvement efforts, data cleansing activities, and material master process optimization.
- Provide support to customer stakeholders and business partners as it pertains to material master data and related processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or equivalent in business administration or related field preferred.
- 1-3+ years of data entry, evaluation of data, supply chain, or related experience required. Knowledge of materials master and related master data processes preferred.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products. SAP or similar ERP systems experience preferred.
