Job Overview:
As a key member of the Finance, Corporate Planning & Development, and Corporate Reserves (FinCPDRes) team, you will serve as the primary IT Analytics analyst, developer, and platform administrator.

Your role will involve the development and support of Data Analytics and Automation solutions, alongside the administration and governance of FinCPDRes-specific Analytics platforms. You will also provide backup support for Automation platforms and solutions, and collaborate with FinCPDRes-embedded technology teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the Power BI Premium node, including workspaces and gateways, ensuring proper deployment, configuration, and governance in partnership with Enterprise partners.
  • Oversee the Python environment for Finance, CP&D, and Reserves, managing deployment, configuration, and governance.
  • Develop and support various Analytics solutions including SpotFire, Power BI, Python, Business Objects, SQL, ETL, and more.
  • Mentor staff in Power BI skills development to enhance team capabilities.
  • Consult and govern the Citizen Development (CD) program, ensuring compliance and sustainability of solutions.
  • Guide business-embedded technology teams in delivering CD solutions while managing risks associated with data exposure and critical business processes.

Assist the IT-BC-FIN Data Architect in formulating and executing the data vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with both Enterprise and constituent objectives.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Analytics solution development and support.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Power BI administration, including infrastructure management.
  • Proven experience in Python administration, covering deployment and maintenance.
  • 3 or more years of experience with CoP Finance data and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established relationships with FinCPDRes service delivery partners and constituents.
  • Experience with IaaS and PaaS services in an enterprise context.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Experience in database design and support, including SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with integration tools like SSIS or Informatica.
  • Microsoft certifications in Power BI or related technologies.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT security and controls.
  • Experience in project and service delivery, particularly in lean agile methodologies.
